Take an indie singer songwriter from Madrid, Spain with a unique name & style and a guy from Silver Lake with his own eclectic charm and what do you get?
A whirlwind romance that ends or in this case begins with the Spanish Boda.
Lourdes Hernandez known as Russian Red found her match in Zach Leigh and together opened one of the coolest venues in the booming LA neighborhood of Highland Park . The Ruby Street was once a church, built in the 19th century, which the couple converted into a modern and quirky venue. Its stained glass windows painted the room in celebration of the couples wedding reception after eloping just few weeks earlier.
With the help and talent of local vendors, the Ruby Street turned into one of the most whimsical nights, fitting of the couple being celebrated. A day filled with worldly one-of-a-kind guests that enjoyed yummy food, live music featuring the couple, and lots of cava drinking.
